I love it when people take a Hermetic approach to the tarot!

Thanks :-D
I thought to simply redraw a card would be boring - triing my own interpretations :-)

Yes, you put in evidence the duality in a very complex way. But, where is the base of all work? Has no balance in my opinion or can not see it...

The base is the mountain itself. The top represents the beginning of a new path - based on the whole mountain. If the base was something different (for example a tower or something more illusional) a journey to the next step (transcendence visualised through light) would lead to the more or less instant fall. To symbolise the stability of the mountain was therefor very important to me.

But why did you drawn the woman same as the man? Nope....can not be agree with you. The mountain is almost without meaning among zodiacal signs and more others. Don't wanna go in detalies. Keep going in what you doing. i'm sure you can be better.

Maybe we are at cross-purposes but why should't they be drawn equal? I don't get your point either sorry
Maybe we can agree that symbolism as universal as it is, never means the same for any beeing, due to the individual point of view :-)

But we are spinning in chaos and those symbols help us at the moment to understand what is our path in this universe.
I have nothing against equality. I'm 100 % for it. All I was trying to say is about balance. Woman complete the man and opposite. You drawn them the same...like they walk with just one leg. It is a lot to talk about it and my understanding starts with the universe origin.
Do not take my reply as offence...not my thought.

In my understanding they both represent children in this card not the completed form. For me they are equally incomplete, still on their way and worshipping the sun instead of being able to be it.
I know that the solar path is a positive/masculine way but the base (in this case the mountain) should in my opinion be made of both principles. That's why they are so equal at this point.
